Erncia lives in a little shack by the side of a busy road with her father, mother, and two sisters. She's a typical young girl who's blessed with a loving family, but unfortunately her parents can't afford to send her to school. Her father is her family's sole financial provider, and he hauls trash for a living. Six days a week he gets up early and pushes a big wooden cart full of trash all over the neighborhood carrying trash for anyone who will hire him, but even though he works hard, he makes just enough to get by. This scholarship will allow Erncia to complete 4th grade.

Education
It all starts with access to education. For RISING Students, this means providing whatever each student needs to return to school–tuition, uniforms, lunches, and more.
Mentoring
We all need the help of people who've been there before. RISING mentors care for and encourage the holistic growth of each student–mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Resources
These are the tools students need to succeed, such as access to computers and the Internet and a local Resource Center to study, connect, and grow together.
