About the Student

Josette’s mother was paying for her school tuition when she suddenly became ill and ended up in the hospital. This made it impossible for Josette’s mother to take care of her or pay for her to go to school. Having the opportunity to go to school means the world to Josette as it will push her in the direction of her dream to become a lawyer. Josette is thankful for this scholarship because she knows it is the first step to having a better life. She is hopeful her mother will recover and is grateful to everyone that prays for her mother’s restored health.

RISING Scholarships Include:

Education

It all starts with access to education. For RISING Students, this means providing whatever each student needs to return to school–tuition, uniforms, lunches, and more.

Mentoring

We all need the help of people who've been there before. RISING mentors care for and encourage the holistic growth of each student–mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Resources

These are the tools students need to succeed, such as access to computers and the Internet and a local Resource Center to study, connect, and grow together.

RISING is a program of Experience Mission
